From the land of the Bluenose.....after breakfast in bed....not me the lady with the shopping gene was out the door yet again with her sisters shopping. After some minor housework a strange but not rare manitou (first nation word for a spirit that lives in everything) took over and I was transformed into "Man who digs with old Garrett." Works fur dis bouy.
Hit the place where I had the visions of mutant sea dwellers again and to my horror there was a ball hockey game going on with a fellow of no respect nor morals wearing a Toronto Maple Leaf sweater (pro hockey team like pro football team l Man U fur dose not frum herez.) The horror! The horror!
Dug a few bottle tops and a few more along with some coinage of the realm. Evil spirits seeped into my body or was it the cold. Lord love a duck a leg leech....Golden lab was in my face. Made the mistake of throwing his ball....quick return and it was at my feet. Again. Again. I was beside myself at least till the owner appeared and put the ball in a modern trebashay
(couldn't spell check this word but is the medieval thing that hurls rocks and such) which hurled the ball a country mile much to the delight of the mobile manure maker. Sort of reminded me of my younger days as a pitcher...now can't even throw hard enough to break a pain of glass. Speaking of pain...don't want to go there.
A few holes later I pulled out a very soft bell tone on the old Garrett which was cranked down to zero as always and up popped......

Um......most holy 18k!

Sorry can't get a better photo.
Here is the thing cleaned up.

Anyway I dug till I couldn't anymore because;
1. too tired
2. too cold (even though I had my furbie on)
3. knee went
4. time to get home and cook fur da hunny bunny
5. or all of the above.
Anyway one dog tag, ultra cool kids plastic ring (eyeballed) and 69 coins later that was that.

Chilling out or thawing out now to the Yoshida Brothers.
